Taurus and Scorpio: Heaven and Hell

Money isn't everything in the world, but it certainly is an important resource for our wellbeing and survival. Just like many other resources and currencies, it allows us to trade: we get what we want in exchange for equal value.

Money is a powerful topic that connects heaven on earth with the depths of hell, symbolically, within us.

If we feel money is lacking, our basic survival is threatened, and our darkest parts awaken: fear, stress, envy, overhauling, selfishness, aggression, possessiveness, competitiveness, and survival instinct.

If, on the other side, we feel abundant: we experience peace, safety, spaciousness, wellbeing, generosity and power.

Note that I am referring to the feeling of abundance or lack, which is not the same as our bank account’s balance (although, we definitely see it reflected there).

This is how we can see the Taurus-Scorpio polarity...

Taurus represents the strength and sturdiness of a 3D resource, while Scorpio represents the psychological, powerful undercurrents of our relationship to its presence or absence.

Those physical resources range all the way from cash and investments, to nature, food and all the way back to our own bodies.

Got it? Great!

Let’s get into the details of what this new moon in Taurus is all about.

Venus: Empress of the New Moon in Taurus

Venus rules this new moon, because she rules Taurus. She is exalted in Pisces, meaning she thrives in the mystical and imaginary realms, where she can be a bit too relaxed and out of touch with the reality of her budget.

Venus represents: how, what and who do we value, appreciate and love. She is related to: self love, care and worthiness, relationships, magnetism, money and creativity.

Saturn & Venus during the New Moon

Because she is still talking with Saturn (this has been a long conversation - since the beginning of the year - due to the Venus retrograde), she has a strong “ground wire” now, which is keeping her on track.

Although Saturn can feel uncomfortably heavy and a bit too serious at times, Venus in this New Moon is looking forward to expanding wellbeing and abundance, with a clear & realistic vision of what she desires, and a plan to get there.

Uranus in the New Moon in Taurus

The Abundance Goddess and The God of Time are also being enthusiastically winked at by our Mad Scientist: Uranus, who is getting ready to pack his machinery out of Taurus, after 7 years of residency during which he has shaken, liberated, and experimented with all things Taurus.

What is starting to look like the results of these experiments? Which part of you that has been liberated wishes to expand and grow? Where are you feeling both called and challenged to tangibly make progress?

This whole conversation between Venus, Saturn and Uranus during the New Moon in Taurus, while we have NO retrograde planets, looks like the latest material upgrade for us. We know better what we are worth, where we’re at, and where we are going.

Based on your rising sign, check which area of life is Taurus for you

If your rising sign is …

Aries: 2nd house of money and self worth

Taurus: 1st house of self image and direction

Gemini: 12th house of hidden energies & mystical experiences

Cancer: 11th house of community & future plans

Leo: 10th house of public image & career

Virgo: 9th house of mental expansion & long travel

Libra: 8th house of power & inner alchemy

Scorpio: 7th house of relationships & contracts

Sagittarius: 6th house of habits, schedules & health

Capricorn: 5th house of fun and creativity

Aquarius: 4th house of home & roots

Pisces: 3rd house of communication, short travel & siblings

This is where the New Moon initiates a new cycle for you, and where you might see growing developments for the next 6 months.

Mars and Pluto: Calling Power from Within

Big challenges of this new moon lie in the call to roar and howl, to wear our hearts, to express what is boiling inside.

Our longing for peace, abundance, safety and wellbeing for ourselves and the collective (new moon in Taurus), are different from our anger (Mars) towards everything that is right now scary and out of our control (Pluto).

While there is a clear part of us that wants stability, another part of us is raging against the machine, quite literally. The two aims don’t match very smoothly, unless we make an effort to see things creatively and with possibility instead of limitation.

Pluto in Aquarius: Technocratic Overlords, a Sci-fi Horror Movie

Since Pluto is in Aquarius (2023-2044), the awareness of the amount of power that lies in the hands of those who own the latest technologies (space travel, AI, AR, etc.), is becoming our collective nightmare.

Our deeper minds are seeing a new monster to be afraid of, the fear paradigm of the new era, and it is starting to look like the caricature of powerful technocrat tyrants.

What if instead, you try to focus on what is being awakened within you? That’s where the Alchemist’s power lies.

Putting it all together

We are connecting to our new abundance mindset, but not without challenge.

This new moon has growth, progress, future momentum. A new seed is planted in a way that very uniquely blends vision/dreams with concrete, long term plans, with stability in mind.

The challenge lies in finding the way to utilize the embers underneath whatever Pluto and Mars are setting on fire to fuel your growth.

The invitation is to turn the rage into something productive, that benefits our community, and empowers those who are struggling to see beyond the fear.

May you find a way to create abundance, for you and for everyone you want to help.
